What first made you realise the potential for creativity in a virtual world?
Back in 2004 I wrote the song "Gamer Chick " I recorded the song and sent it to Entropia Universe's developer Mindark for fun, they loved it and they placed it on the in world Juke Boxes, within a few days it was a huge hit. All the Avatars were dancing to it and when word got out that NEVERDIE had recorded it, I got a lot of appreceation from the community. That was a real awakening. It made me realize that Virtual reality could be a tremendous platform for artists.
What would you consider to be your finest creative achievement to date?
I think to have managed to make my Avatar NEVERDIE larger than life is something Special
When I look at a picture of him, I think it's me... lol
Fine art has always been a niche market. Do you think there is a big enough market within virtual words to support fine art, or do you think the furture lies with "prints" selling multiple copies of the same work?
I have purchased Originals and Limited editions in Virtual Reality and definitely I see the Value of owning original art, not only from an investment point of view, but if u have a public place to Display it, its great to have something unique.
Forgeries or ilegal prints of art IRL have always been a real problem, based on the fact that exact digital replicas can be easily made when dealing with digital art, what protection is in place for up and coming artists?
Entropia Universe have now developed a Signature System for original art which is a Great step also. If copyright violation is reported it will be acted open.
Moving on from digital art, creativity in virtual worlds can also apply to building items. Based on the fact we already have two very well known
virtual worlds, Entopia Universe and Second Life, the former creating a spacestation and the latter allowing its inhabitants to build anything by
attching building blocks together, do you think there are limits to what can be achieved in a virtual reality?
I think that Virtual reality will change the world as profoundly as the internet, but even more deeply because of the greater ability to share a communal experience
What do you think the computer age has done for creativity - many people think technology stiffles peoples imaginations, do you think this is true?
I think that is a common reaction to advances in science, but it doesn't take long for people to find ways to express themselves using new technology
Art IRL can fetch millions of dollers - what do you think the maximum digital art could ever sell for in a virtual world?
No Maximum, without a doubt in my mind.
A digital creation that belongs to a virtual avatar in a virtual world will potentially dissappear forever if the IRL player behind the avatar stops
playing. Would this not be a great loss if art is lost forever? How would you prevent this.
Good Question. Perhaps art should be flagged so that it doesn't get wiped from the inventories of in active accounts. It could Be returned to a loot pool or placed in auction.

To be continued.....
